### How much does concrete coating cost in Orange County?
Cost depends on the slab condition, prep needed, coating system, and the decorative layer. Most 2 car garages we do land somewhere in the few thousand to mid five figures range. ### Epoxy vs polyaspartic vs polyurea, what should I get?
Polyaspartic for 1 day install and UV stable driveways. Polyurea for the toughest hot tire and chemical resistance. Epoxy as the budget option for indoor garages with no UV exposure.

### Will it really hold up to hot tires?
Yes if we diamond grind the concrete and use a hot tire rated topcoat (polyaspartic or polyurea). Standard latex floor paint and DIY epoxy kits over acid etched concrete are where most hot tire failures come from.

### Do you grind or acid etch the concrete?
Diamond grind on every job. Acid etch is the cheap shortcut that predicts failure within a couple summers. We bring industrial grinders and HEPA dust collection.

### How long until I can park on it?
Foot traffic same day on polyaspartic, next day on epoxy. Vehicle traffic 24 to 72 hours depending on temperature and the coating system used.

### Can you fix cracks, pits, and spalling first?
Yes. Crack chase and fill with polymer modified patch, spall repair with cementitious or epoxy mortar, then full grind and coat. Heavy spalling adds $1 to $4 per sqft.

### Will it be slippery when wet on patios or pool decks?
We broadcast aluminum oxide non slip aggregate into the topcoat on patio and pool deck applications. ADA compliant slip rating available on request.

### Solid color, flake, or quartz, what hides dirt best?
Flake (vinyl chip) hides dust and minor stains best. Solid color is sharpest visually but shows everything. Quartz is the premium look with the best texture and durability.

### Will it yellow in direct sun on a driveway?
Not with polyaspartic or polyurea (UV stable). Standard epoxy yellows in 1 to 2 summers on driveways. We never spec indoor epoxy for outdoor use.

### What is the warranty?
Every estimate spells out a written workmanship warranty before any work starts, so you know exactly what is covered. Manufacturer coating warranties pass through on top, and they vary by system.

### Can you do pool deck coatings?
Yes. Cool deck overlay or polyaspartic with broadcast aggregate for slip resistance. Adds $3 to $8 per sqft over standard garage coating.
